Mental Health Services

Family Ties is an approved provider of Intensive Family Intervention (IFI) services through Medicaid. Our goal is to provide comprehensive services for the rehabilitation and intervention of children, adolescents and their families who have or are suspected of having a DSM-IV diagnosis. Services are provided through a team approach that includes intensive therapeutic services for individuals and their families and linking consumers to community based agencies. The team comprises a clinical therapist and behavioral aides. Up to 90 days of intensive services with 3-5 visits per week. Service is available 24/7 for consumers and their families experiencing crises. Referrals are accepted from the DFCS, DJJ, Juvenile Court, Hospitals, Psychologist/ Psychiatrist, Counselors/ Social Workers, School Administrators, as well as self referrals. Currently, children and adolescents (6-18 years old) in foster care with active Medicaid are eligible to receive services.
